SL Green Realty secures a $205 million refinance for its Midtown office tower at 10 East 53rd Street, down 7% from the previous loan in 2020. The new debt from Wells Fargo replaces the earlier $220 million loan. The decrease is attributed to higher interest rates and tighter lending conditions. SL Green purchased the Plaza District building in 2012 and renovated it in 2016. Tenants include Equinox and Compass. SL Green’s stock has fallen 42% in five years but rose 143% in the past year.
