Diamond National Investments secured a $63 million construction loan from Popular Bank for a 218-unit residential development at 1010 Washington Avenue in Morrisania, Bronx. The project, led by Joel Landau, was filed in November 2021 and is managed by Menachem Mendel Chazanow, CEO of Diamond National. Popular Bank is notably active in NYC’s construction lending market, having issued $587 million across 26 loans in the past year.
