Premier Equities has sold the hotel located at 1141 Broadway in NoMad to Miami-based Azora Exan for $47.8 million. Formerly known as the Flatiron Hotel, the property is leased by Sonder, a hospitality group that offers hybrid apartment-hotel rooms. Premier initially listed the building for $60 million last year. Sonder occupies eight of the building’s ten floors, while the ground floor houses luxury skincare brand Malin + Goetz and a gelato shop, with a rooftop cocktail bar, Apotheke Mixology. Azora Exan plans to retain the property, expecting current tenants to remain and handle any necessary renovations themselves.
