Yitzchok Katz’s Goose Property Management purchased a 12,662-square-foot vacant lot at 172 3rd Avenue in Gowanus, Brooklyn, from Jack Elo’s Elo Organization for 22 million. The site is zoned for mixed-use development with potential for up to five times floor area ratio for residential use. Elo Organization originally acquired the property in 2009 for 7.8 million. The transaction aligns with Goose Property’s plans for development in the area, complementing its pending acquisition of a nearby property at 246 Butler Street. Financing for the property included a 21.5 million loan from Hirshmark Capital.
