Bungalow Projects and Bain Capital filed plans to develop a 300,000-square-foot production studio in Bushwick, Brooklyn, at 242 Seigel Street. The project, costing nearly $50 million, will occupy a large portion of the block between White Street and Bushwick Avenue. Bungalow acquired multiple properties for the site, including a $7.8 million purchase this month and $26.6 million in deals last year. The studio is expected to start marketing in 2026 and be completed in early 2027. Bungalow and Bain also plan a 225,000-square-foot production facility in Red Hook as part of their larger 1 million-square-foot studio expansion in New York.
