320 Majors Path

The late architect Thierry Despont’s Southampton estate at 320 Majors Path is under contract for nearly $18 million. Despont, who passed away in August 2023, had listed the 34-acre property for $23.5 million in 2022, later reducing the price to $20 million. He originally bought three parcels for $8.5 million between 2011 and 2013, combining them into an estate featuring a main house, guest house, and pool house. The main house spans 6,000 square feet with six bedrooms. Despont was known for notable projects like restoring the Statue of Liberty.
