Eliezer Fried of Bezz Enterprises, part-owner of a loft building at 400 South 2nd Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, filed a major alteration application for the property’s rehabilitation, converting it from about nine units to 27 units. The plan includes removing the building from the Loft Law covering Interim Multiple Dwellings (IMD) and obtaining a proper certificate of occupancy under residential occupancy (R-2). The filing outlines the conversion of the manufacturing building into a mixed-use residential and commercial space. Rester Management, associated with the project, acquired several properties formerly owned by investor Chaskiel Strulovitch in 2019.
