Slate Property Group acquired the 119,467-square-foot hotel at 52 William Street in FiDi from Sam Chang’s McSam Hotel Group and Andrew Roufail for $94.5 m. The sale price equates to $791 per square foot. Slate financed the deal with a $69.5 m loan from Citibank. Previously purchased for 93.5 m in 2017, the property has a market value of $34.3 m. Slate is led by David Schwartz and Martin Nussbaum.
