Success Academy Charter Schools has purchased two Brooklyn properties from Magen David Yeshivah at 7801 and 7815 Bay Parkway in Gravesend for $37.2 million. The transaction follows Jeff Sutton’s involvement in helping the yeshiva secure three nearby properties for a new $50 million, 81,000-square-foot high school building, set to be completed by January 2027. Founded in 1946, Magen David Yeshivah also operates an elementary school and an early childhood center in Gravesend, a neighborhood known for its Syrian Jewish community’s significant presence in New York City’s retail and garment sectors.
