Chella Safra, widow of Brazilian banker Moise Safra, purchased a co-op at 907 Fifth Avenue on the Upper East Side for $37.5m. The 12th-floor apartment, comprising two units, was sold off-market by hedge funder Boaz Weinstein, who bought it in 2012 for $25.5m. Previously owned by heiress Huguette Clark, the apartment required extensive renovations after decades of vacancy. Clark, known for her reclusive nature, owned multiple luxury properties but spent years living in hospitals. The limestone building overlooks Central Park, and Adam Modlin represented both buyer and seller. Safra, based in São Paulo, is active in global Jewish philanthropy.
