Billionaire Larry Ellison, Oracle co-founder, purchased the 310-key Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa in Manalapan, Florida, expanding his hotel portfolio in the area. The resort, with an 8-acre oceanfront compound, has a storied history dating back to the 1950s as La Coquille Club, later becoming The Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach. The Lewis family rebranded it as Eau Palm Beach in 2013 after acquiring it for $67.5 million in 2003. This purchase follows Ellison’s record-breaking $173 million acquisition of a nearby 16-acre estate in 2022. The sale price of the resort remains undisclosed.
