BOSFA Properties plans a 200-unit multifamily project, The Gardens at Buffalo, in Freeport, Long Island, seeking $80 million in bond financing to proceed. The development includes 10 studios, 100 one-bedroom, 70 two-bedroom, and 20 three-bedroom units, with half reserved for veterans and seniors. At least 20% of units will be affordable housing. The site, previously a low-income housing complex destroyed by Hurricane Sandy, was purchased for $17.5 million. BOSFA has already secured significant tax breaks and exemptions. Led by Daniel and Aron Goldstein, the firm aims to open the project by next July.
