Fortinet, a California-based cybersecurity firm valued at $73 billion, is purchasing the 45,000 sq. ft. building at 548 West 22nd Street in West Chelsea from Atlas Capital Group for approximately $50 million, or over $1,100 per sq. ft. The building, formerly home to the DIA Art Foundation, features a carport elevator, EV charging capabilities, and high-capacity power. Previously listed for $68 million, the property was acquired by Atlas after Kevin Maloney’s PMG purchased it in 2014 for $40 million.
