Isaac Tshuva’s Elad Group purchased the 200,000-square-foot office building at 419 Park Avenue South for $72 million, with plans to convert it into residential condos. This will be the first office-to-residential condo conversion in Midtown South since the pandemic. The project is expected to create around 100 units, slated for completion in 2026. Elad Group has prior experience with similar conversions, including the Plaza Hotel and 108 Leonard Street in Tribeca. WeWork had previously occupied 60,000 square feet in the building before vacating through its bankruptcy proceedings.
