Jay Suites, a New York-based co-working firm owned by Jack and Juda Srour, purchased a Class B Midtown office building at 8 West 38th Street for $35 million. The 142,000-square-foot, 12-story building was 80 percent occupied at the time of sale. The Srours plan to use the third floor for their conference-room leasing business, Jay Conferences, while continuing to lease out the remaining floors. The property, located near the new Amazon offices and major transportation hubs, had been owned by the Felder family for eight decades.
