JDS Development Group is commencing sales for its planned Brickell tower, which will be branded as Mercedes-Benz Places in Miami. This marks Mercedes-Benz’s first North American condo project. The 67-story mixed-use tower, located at 191 Southwest 12th Street, will feature 791 units with floor plans ranging from studios to three-bedroom condos. Prices start at $500,000, and construction is expected to be completed in 2027. JDS founder and CEO Michael Stern secured approval for the project in 2020 and an $86 million construction loan in 2022. The development is part of Stern’s 1 Southside Park, which includes a Treehouse hotel, office space, retail space, fitness facilities, and amenities. The project will also feature a redesign of Southside Park by landscape design firm Field Operations. R. Serhant will lead sales and marketing for the project.
