Metro Loft Management and Investments secured a $135 million loan from Northwind Group for their office-to-residential conversion project at 235 East 42nd Street, the former Pfizer headquarters in Midtown Manhattan. This follows a previous $75 million loan from Northwind for the adjacent 219 East 42nd Street. The project aims to transform the Pfizer building into approximately 1,500 rental units, marking the largest office-to-residential conversion in NYC. The development is part of Metro Loft’s broader portfolio, including a major conversion at 25 Water Street.
