New York University (NYU) purchased the specialty building at 1 West 4th Street in Greenwich Village for $75.5 million from Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion. The property, which has 85,000 square feet of built space and 19,015 square feet of additional air rights, has a total buildable area of 104,067 square feet. The price per square foot is $888 for built space and $725 for buildable space.
