Manhattan’s Row hotel, marred by defaults and disputes, is being jointly marketed for around $350 million by an investment group led by David Werner and another led by Highgate and Rockpoint Group. Werner’s group, facing foreclosure on its fee interest after defaulting on a $275 million mortgage in 2020, agreed to sell the property along with Highgate’s group, which struggled with hotel operations but paid down their debt. The joint offering aims to consolidate ownership and enhance the property’s value. The Row hotel has been used as a migrant family shelter under the Adams administration’s $40 million contract.
