Pro-H Development

Pro-H Development, led by Hung Pin Hung, purchased the site at 842 Sixth Avenue for $30 million, planning to construct a residential condo instead of the previously proposed 26-story AC Hotel NoMad. Developer Robert Chun initially planned to build the world’s tallest modular hotel, but the project stalled. The Chun family owned the site since the 1990s and had faced foreclosure before settling a $33 million debt with Avana Capital. Modular construction, which was innovative at the time, contributed to delays, leading to Pro-H’s decision to shift to a residential project. Construction is set to begin in spring 2025.
