Rick Vidal has listed the NewVida resort in the Adirondacks for $12.9 million, just 10 months after its opening. The 1,140-acre property includes an 11,000-square-foot mansion and a 25,000-square-foot lodge with a restaurant, event space, and 14 suites. While the resort is reportedly “thriving,” Vidal is seeking an equity investor to expand the business, capitalizing on increasing demand for Adirondack hospitality. Hotel revenue in Essex County grew by 23 percent since mid-2023. Despite growth, local businesses face challenges such as labor shortages and housing for employees.
