Sumaida + Khurana purchased a 4,650-square-foot site at 1 Walker Street in Tribeca for 18 m, planning a 10-story luxury condo. The site, sold by Peter Matera’s estate, has a mostly vacant building with retail tenants. The firm is seeking additional air rights. Known for designs by Pritzker-winning architects, Sumaida + Khurana’s 611 West 66th project has sold 75% of its units. The developer is also active in South Florida, with office projects like The Fifth Miami Beach, featuring high-end tenants like J. Goldman and Sant Ambroeus, and 1100 Fifth Street, set to begin construction next year.
