The Arrow Linen project in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn, has received critical approval from Council member Shahana Hanif, clearing the way for development. The project will include two 10-story buildings with 250 apartments, 100 of which will be affordable, alongside a child care center and community space for survivors of domestic violence. The number of affordable units was increased to 40%, exceeding city requirements. Despite opposition from some locals about the project’s size and affordability, supporters argue it’s a much-needed addition to the area’s housing market. Apex Development is leading the project, which aims to meet local housing needs.
