Andrew and Sarah Wetenhall, owners of The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach, have purchased The Hedges Inn in East Hampton from the Cumming family for an undisclosed price. Their plans align with the community’s vision, avoiding concerns of the inn becoming a private club. Updates will include a three-meal restaurant, room renovations, and minor property changes before summer. Trivia nights are also planned. After the season, they’ll focus on restoring guest rooms, updating bathrooms, and refreshing interiors.
