The Durst Organization sold a $135 million stake in its Halletts Point project in Queens to Affinius Capital, a longtime partner. Affinius, previously the real estate arm of USAA, acquired a minority interest in the 162-unit affordable building at 3-24 27th Avenue and in the 20 and 30 Halletts Point towers, which offer 647 units. Leasing for the towers is underway, with tenants expected in the spring. The larger Halletts Point development will eventually include 2,400 units.
