Tristan Schukraft

Tryst Hospitality, led by Tristan Schukraft, acquired 75% of Fire Island Pines Resort’s commercial district, including the Pavilion nightclub, a hotel, two restaurants, and more, initially listed for $17.2 million. The district covers 320 feet of the main walkway and features a 16-room hotel and a three-room staff building, with potential for 18 additional rooms or bungalows. The purchase is part of a bankruptcy reorganization after the previous owners defaulted on loans. Tryst plans to reopen the businesses for the 2024 season and will renovate the hotel.
