Yakov Cohen, a Sunny Isles Beach-based investor, purchased a 28,376-square-foot big box store in Aventura for $17.7 million, or about $624 per square foot. The property, located at 18495 Biscayne Boulevard, was acquired through Cohen’s entity in partnership with Shimon Bouskila. The seller, a partnership between Jacobo Azout and the Sredni family, had originally bought the site for $16.4 million in 2017. This purchase adds to Cohen’s growing portfolio in northeast Miami-Dade, where he is also planning the Aventura Office Center and a mixed-use development near the Aventura Brightline Station.
